applications which suit their particular business demands.
In order to effectively carry out the role of
network support
consultant, we establish links and working relationships with
the vendors of the applications being run by our clients and
to understand the technical requirements of those applications.
Examples of relationships include:
Line 50, Line 100 and Sage Payroll software is used by many of our customers. We are able to provide the technical link between the customer’s accounts department and Sage support, often resulting in being able to avoid having to call Sage by suggesting improved working practices which suit the specific network environment.
Roadrunner is a heavy transport specific application which tracks the movements of containers. The application can be implemented under either Windows or Unix servers. Fastlane Systems have experience of installing and managing networks in each of these environments with Roadrunner software installed.
This is again an industry specific application which enables the design and costing of uPVC doors and windows down to component level.
Pet Admin is used extensively by boarding kennels and catteries.
Pet Admin can be either single user or networked multi user. Fastlane Systems have recently installed a new network for Dunsmore Kennels which involved migrating a single user PetAdmin to multi user.
